The winners of the 2021 Wargames Illustrated awards were revealed in the latest issue. While I’m not taking home any trophies this year, there are still a lot of positives to be drawn from the results.

Two of my games finished in the Top 5 in the ‘Best New Wargame’ category.  Stargrave came in second. The Silver Bayonet came in fourth, despite barely having been released at the time of the vote.

Just as exciting, my article Daleks in Stargrave took second in the ‘Best Wargames Illustrated Article’ category, loosing out to Rick Priestly.  And really, losing to Rick Priestly is a bit like losing to Usain Bolt.
